Dhanvantari.

 Dhanvantari.

Dhanvantari, Sushruta,Chikitsa, Shailya..........

Lord of Medicine, well informed, Treating the ailing, Skills for Treating........

Synonymous for Medicine and Medical fraternity.

The first day of entering this Medical field, we Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath.

To serve mankind and treat the ailing.

Human body is complicated and complex. It is product of millions of years of evolution.

Human body is a system of many systems .

Our body is a miracle, scientists have not been able to figure out all of it yet.

If we all embrace this reality regarding our Human body, then we can accept Mortality. But unfortunately, this is most difficult thing for anybody to accept. Our self concious Mind refuses to imagine non existence of our loved ones. Just Impossible.

In all these years in Medical field and Emmergency branch like Anaesthesiology,I have realised that Human body is highly unpredictable and complex. Science and technology has its own flaws and limitations.

In short......Life is Complicated. Living is Surreal.

We Doctors are not God.

Diagnostic software are only for Guidance.

Patient and related people should accept this fact. Also Google and Wikipedia are not Bible for Medicine. They are informative and give an idea about illness and Medicine.

The more transparent our thoughts, attitudes and paper work Regarding Illness, treatment and unfortunate complications, the more ease is handling emotions of grieving party and treatment of disease.

Doctors are humans.Errors in judgement and decisions in treatment of illness are possible.

Human errors are inevitable in any field.

But in Medical field,it costs the loss of a precious life .

This fact we Doctors should always keep in mind.

Also our patients should be aware of.

Dhanvantari........is a big name given to us Doctors.

It carries lots of responsibility, trust, Hope and Faith.

PROUD TO BE A DOCTOR.

PROUDER TO BE AN ANAESTHESIOLOGIST.

  2. The blog rightly depicts the infinitely-complex human body and the limitations of medical science in understanding and treating the body. The realisation of this shortfall helps individuals to take the tragic event of the death of the near and dear ones in the right spirit.
