I am Anaesthesiologist. Have been practicing for almost 2 decades.
Anaesthesia gives me opportunity to work with Doctors from all fields of Medicine.
It's my fortune also to be connected with Doctors and Patients for generations.
I feel so grateful to be interacting with almost 3 generations of Doctors and patients too.
Parent, Child,Grandchild.....

We Doctors get to meet generations of a family and follow their life journey.
In course of time the relationship with our patients and their families grow from Doctor- Anna/ Akka- Uncle/ Aunty- ....to Tata/ Ajja/ Ajji...if the grandchildren also land up under your care.
It's so gratifying when you have given Anaesthesia for Csection of a Lady,then after years again anaesthetised same lady when she ages and has to undergo Hysterectomy. Then the lady brings her daughter and daughter in law for Csection.
Some times I have anaesthetised the grandchild for some procedure......and I am sure I will anaesthetise that Granddaughter for her Csection tomorrow. 😀😄😄😄😄😄
I have been attached to Hospital run by Individual Doctors..I began my practice with the Senior generation, right now working with the Son of the Doctor.....The 3rd Generation is today pursuing Medicine. In few years,it would be great working with that young Doctor who used to visit Operation Theatre as an  inquisitive toddler and teen.
Medicine is interesting. To become a part of Family to the Doctors we work together for years.....and Interactions with Patient....for Generations.....
Love of Generations ..... for Generations.

I have worked as Anaesthesiologist for my Obstetrician Father in Law....
My Husband who is Ophthalmologist.....
In coming years my both kids now pursuing Medical.....hopefully if taking Surgical branch.....I will have opportunity to give Anaesthesia to their patients.....

Circle gets complete.

When you lose Health

 When you lose your health...... I was referred a 70yr man suffering from severe pain. A CA Lung with metastasis. He was a very successful, famous Advocate.A Robust and Dynamic personality yesterday.  But that Cancer had made him weak and vulnerable.  He had become a frail shadow..... Another patient with Parkinson 's disease regularly visits for pain relief . A retired Chairman of a Conglomerate.  Both these people have been Dynamic personalities looked up on by everyone. They inspired youth by their enormous work and attitude.  Today,though the Brain is very strong..... The Body became weak and debilitating.  They get emotional " Why me,Doctor?" " Just look at me today.Yesterday I was energetic and always on the go.Today I struggle with pain.Tomorrow I may either be on a wheel chair or bedridden for the rest of my life."
