Appaji told me 27yrs ago when I was doing Postgraduation in Anaesthesia in Nair hospital.
My father kept his word.

25yrs back,today 18th November, 2000, at 8am ,Milind arrived with his family to Vashi .I had mehendi on both hands.My Attya feeding me.
" No,you can't see the bride before wedding. It's inauspicious".
I refused to turn around.
Milind chuckled," I was married to you the day I saw you.Tomorrow is just a formality."

18th started our journey together with pre wedding rituals of both families coming together and greeting each other.
19th November 2000.....
Milind and myself took the Saat Pheras....took wedding Vows ....
Promising each other to love and support each other at every walk of life.
Then came " Kanya Daan"
Handing over the daughter to the son of Galgali family.
My Appaji took the ritual literally. He became inconsolable handing his beloved daughter 's hand to his son- in- law.....
Giving off his most valuable asset.
Every one became emotional.
The elders of Galgali family " Kurbetji, your daughter will be well taken care of.Be assured."

My siblings and friends told Milind " Tripti is not an easy person, very stubborn. But sincere and caring. Never quits😉"

My Appaji treated me as a Princess.....and he found another man who made his daughter a " Queen " not only of his heart but even more strong and more confident.

25yrs.....
Milind and I stuck to the Vows we made to each other.
We are 2 different personalities. We have different opinions.
We are very much different from each other .
We argue.We differ.We fight....
Each moment in these 25yrs was a revelation of our personalities to both of us .
But one aspect we both are on the same platform.....Responsibility and Accountability to our parents, children and people working with us.....most are emotionally dependent on us....and many financially dependent on us.We need to be careful and diligent with our words and actions.
Both of us have been together as a Team.
Now 2 more equally strong and independent individuals just like us have added to our team. Tomorrow we will see some more added equally.

Life ,as promised by my Appaji, with Milind has been as smooth as my childhood with just few small bumps.
It's not that we both have been equal partners in everything. In some Milind has contributed  totally and taken major responsibilities. In some,I have handled everything .

In true sense,our marriage has brought 2 personalities and individuals come together and 2 Families with contrast backgrounds unite.

Dear Friends,
You have been with us so far.....watched the movie " Milind weds Tripti " .....25yrs....now it's just interval......the film has come midway.
There is still more to see.....unfold.....
