The USP Factor.

 USP....Unique selling Point.

When I was a kid,saw Dilip Kumar portray Tragedy.Then came Rajesh Khanna defining Romance.Amitabh Bacchan brought the Angry young man.

There were shops which were famous for one particular sweet.

As I entered college, we used to go to Mani's near Ruia college who made great Vada Rasam.Sardar 's in Bandra was famous for Pav Bhaji.

To summarize my point 

Each individual had a USP. ....A Unique Selling Point.

The individual mastered the Art or technique they were famous for.which was their USP.In due course of time they brought in innovative ideas and creativity but in that field they were masters.

Pancham Puriwala at Fort...initially sold only Poori and Aloo Sabzi. In due course of time, added 100 varieties of Poori in menu.

We would visit that particular place traveling hours to enjoy the USP factor.

But today.....Corporate culture has entered in everything. Commercialization of everything has been done. 

As a result,the USP Factor has got lost.

One Size Fits All.

This is the norm.

Today,we have Malls all air-conditioned and glamorize.Everything and anything is available but what is lost is quality.

Actors play everything..do everything.....act,dance,sing,fight,shed clothes, villain,vamp,comedy...all in one.what is lost is creativity and uniqueness. Every Actor looks same....as if churned out of Factory.

Fashion and Art has become stereotypical,Unisex.Absolute no innovation. 

The USP Factor is lost.

Monotony and Neutrality is seen in every field.

Lack of creative ideas and thoughts is a sad part of Corporate culture.

We go to restaurants who sell anything and everything under a  roof.Chinese,Continental,North Indian,South Indian,Thai,Chat,Sweets,Icecream......from A to Z.......

Result is absolute no excitement of eating out.

Today we don't have a hero to adore,emulate,copy....

A place to crave.....

A Fashion statement to showcase.....

The USP of an individual is totally lost.

We all are Factory made Robots....who look same,eat same,and have same thought process.

Dear Friends....

Let us create our own USP.

Let us be different.

Let us be Unique.

Let us have our own Identity.

Otherwise we will drown ourselves in the sea of Mankind

How much......is too much?????

  How much ....is Too much????? I happened to visit my Paediatrician friend. An IAS officer brought her 2 month baby for check up.The baby was crying while passing urine.Urine tests and culture showed no infection. The concerned Mother showed a methodically maintained book on number of times the 2 month was breastfed,pooped, burped,passed motion,flatulence..body temperature..etc etc....We were surprised by minute details noted every moment of the newborn by the apprehensive but diligent new Mom. Now we come to the part .....How much....is too much???? To maintain asepsis....the overtly careful mom.....had wiped the private parts of the baby ...each time it passed urine or motion.....with concentrated hospital Savalon antiseptic solution...... This resulted in inflammation of the baby's soft mucosa over private parts.....making every passing of urine agonizing and burning.......
