Independence Day

 I want my Freedom......


I am Bharati....

I am 77 yrs free from British Rule today....

Every one is celebrating my Freedom....my Independence today.....

Am I really Free????

Am I really Independent of everyone and everything?????

I was a Sita once....who suffered due to a Man's Ego and Power.

I had to become a Kali to end the Tyranny and Violence of An Asura.....

I was a Nirbhaya who became a victim of Lust and backward mindsets.....

I became a Hapless Lady Doctor who got brutally assaulted and murdered when alone.......

I don't want people to pray me....

I don't want your protection....

I don't want you to put me on a high pedestal......

I don't want you to treat me as an " Object" of Desire or Worship or Possession. 

I want to be Me....an individual....my own entity....

I want Equality- ---- ,to exist,to educate,to work,to practice, to pray,to move around----- To Survive......

I dont want to be killed because of my gender,my honor,my thoughts, my actions......

I don't fight for reservations nor do I demand Respect.....nor do I expect privileges....

I want my Freedom.....

My Freedom to Live Independently 

Without any Curbs....

Without any Restrictions ......

Without any Fear....


Don't call me Devi,Mata,Sister,Behen,..

Call me By my Name.....

I am BHARATI.

The Best Phase of my Life.

  The Best Phase of my Life. I was listening to an interview of a well known personality. " Which has been your life's Best phase?" His answer ... Every phase of my life from childhood to growing up till date has been Best Phase of my life. Interviewer: Did you never face any bad moments which let you down?" Answer: Every phase of life at any point or age has its own ups and equal quotient of downs.The downs make you tough.They teach you to value the ups.If life was full of only joy ..it's never heaven. It's boring. Life needs variety of happiness and set backs.Only then do we enjoy.Hence all phases of my Life have been Best." Self Esteem

 Self Esteem. " OH! He/ She is not upto the mark". A very random comment.  Don't we many many many times casually pass our judgement about a person???? A very random and casual comment.  The person passing this comment may not feel it's importance or might have unknowingly spoken them. But do we realize the effect this random comment passed just casually, has on the specified person? Abhishek Bacchan recently in an interview spoke about this. A series of flops in his debuting career,got media comparing him with his legendary father ,Shri Amitabh Bacchan. " AB's baby is just not upto the mark." This comment coming from everyone and everywhere,affected him so much,that in many parties,Abhishek would himself comment in front of his mother and people around" I am a flop".
