Currently, in news is our Indian Cricket Team Captain Rohit Sharma.
Less for leading his team to Finals by defeating Australia in Champion 's Trophy being hosted by Pakistan but held in Dubai when India plays.
More he is being Body shamed especially by Politician Shama Mohammed .
Rohit Sharma is bulky .An ace Batsman and a very successful Captain having win many matches for India.
Body Shaming has always been prominent globally....whether west ,east, north, south.
Every where...every decade....every century....every era.
A fat body is always targeted, ridiculed and shamed.
Today, it is highlighted because of social media.
It's despairing and disheartening to see such a great Cricket player not valued nor appreciated for his cricketing skills....all that is overlooked .....

Does Lean frame equals a healthy person always?

Is a bulky body necessarily points to unfit inside????

Body weight mass index which was relevant yesterday....
Today,experts say this calculation is lacking and doesn't justify a fitness level and index of a person completely.
It just gives an insight.But not accurate 100%.
The body structure of a person differs by race,familial genetics, sex and age.
A bulky body can be physically fit too if food intake is in moderation and exercising regularly. What's important are multiple parameters vital for body functioning.
A lean body which is unable to perform physical activities , Cardiac exercises or ever feels tired or unwell regularly is unfit medically.
What looks good from outside doesn't necessarily is good inside always.

Never judge a book just by It's cover!!!!

I too have been more to the other side of weighing scale.
My talent and intelligence have always been overlooked by my short and heavy stature.
As a kid ,a teen,a youth....and even today....whenever I have performed on stage .....very few onlookers have appreciated my art....my dance....my expressions....my attitude....my personality.
Most could see only my bodyweight.
Today, I have outlived half of my or more than half of my life span.....
Yet,I get to hear" Can't imagine how can you dance gracefully with that heavy body?"
Most eyes rest only on the big abdominal girth......
If they won't spare Aishwarya Rai...a beautiful, talented actress....
Rohit Sharma,ace Batsman and great Captain
Vidya Balan,an expressive actress....
Kanak Rele,a very graceful and imminent Mohiniattam dancer.....
Just for their body weight.....
Then who am I?????

Body weight mass index is very important to stay away from Obesity.
Obesity leads to many diseases- Diabetes, Hypertension, Hormonal imbalance, Respiratory difficulties, Sleep disorders.
Obesity causes psychological problems.even Societal acceptance becomes difficult .
But a bulky body within normal limits....a bit above lean body mass index.....if is able to perform all Cardiac activities easily without becoming breathless or tired.....food habits are healthy,lifestyle is healthy.....doesn't suffer any medical conditions....is physically and mentally fit.....all parameters normal......
People stop Body Shaming .
Look beyond a person's physical appearance.
Look deeper into person's personality, grace,talent,skills and attitude.
I am more than my bulk.....
Dear kids and adults,
Stress on healthy eating habits.Stay away from Fancy diets which are in fad.Eat every thing in moderation including carbohydrates and fats.
Exercise in moderation. Excess too is not healthy. Nor is being lethargic and coach potato.
Stress more in building your personality and skills.
How I behave....is more important than how I look.
My attitude stays with me forever....while my beauty lasts only till my youth.
Body Shaming is harmful for society.
Just as we eradicate a disease from a system.....Body Shaming too must get eradicated and cleaned out of our society.
