The Road Not Taken.

The Road Not Taken.

By Robert Frost.

Two roads diverged in the yellow wood
And sorry I could not travel both.
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other,as just as fair;
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same .
Oh,I kept the first for another day!
And both that morning, equally lay
in leaves no step had trodden black
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence
Two roads diverged in a wood and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

To every person at the Crossroads.
To every student at the Crossroads.
To every Youth at the Crossroads of his Professional career.

After 10th boards, In India, all students have to choose.
Some choose the safer stream which will take them to an assured Branch after 12th and from there towards a Safe Professional career.
Majority of the parents encourage their kids to opt for branches which assure well paying jobs in future which will make their life comfortable.
Very very few parents and Students follow their passion.
Handful at the Crossroads take the path less tread.....unknown......challenging.
Extreme cases remain indecisive and confused till the end.
I totally agree, choosing the current trend and time tested, well outlined, assured path does make the journey of life comfortable and easy.
But in the long run, though the path is straight with very few obstacles, the travel at times becomes monotonous, slow and lethargic
When life becomes predictable and less challenging, boredom strikes you.
This causes lesser focus and reduced zeal.
This affects growth in life.
Slackened growth brings in disillusionment, disappointment and depression.
I have always followed my passion and chosen my own path.
The path maybe less traveled, challenging and unknown.
If you are focussed and determined, you will carve your own path amidst the dense deep woods.
Life needs challenges. They bring the excitement and energy to achievement.
Achieving your goals inspires others to walk and follow your created path.

As Robert Frost says at the end .....
Life can be different....
Difference in Life......
At the Crossroads.....choose your passion....even if the path is the other divergent....less traveled....unpaved....rocky.....dense...challenging......
Why.....
Because you can always return back tomorrow and walk the other path.

At Crossroads,
Don't hesitate to take the
Road Not Taken.......
