Chugging down the Memory Train.

Chug Chug Train Choo Choo Choo Clickety Clack Clicket Clack Down the track Coming into the Station  Climb on Aboard Enjoy your ride. Choo Choo Choo Train. Train journey is most memorable. Though very long but exciting and full of fun. The maximum number of times I have traveled till date by Train has been during my MBBS years between Mumbai and Wardha. Two trains I often took are Vidarbha Express....most journey was night journey.  Sewagram Express....mostly Day journey.  Sewagram Express was preferred at end of every University Exams as it left Wardha Station at 10.30 pm. Vidarbha Express was taken when Home Sickness  brought a sudden urge to visit home in Mumbai . Suddenly at end of a Practical period, I would run to my Head of Department for permission to go home.Infirm Hostel Warden.....reach the station to catch the 5 30pm Vidarbha Express.....most times wearing my White Doctors Coat. For quite many years MGIMS, Sewagram was the only medical college in that vicinity. So most fell

PERSPECTION

Perspectives  Recently, I saw a short film in Marathi"  शंभराव स्थळ " on YouTube.  The 2 protagonists were in 30s.Both met each other through a marriage bureau.  Both - Boy and Girl were perfect for each other- Good salary,Position, Family, Good looking etc. But Same time- Absolute Mismatch- Perspectives.  Perspective towards life was totally different.  One was fully focused to career, calculative, practical. Other loved Life as it flowed. Cut 2..... I was casually chatting with my friend regarding life in marriage after 2 decades. Both of us Good careers, good partners, settled family- PLATEAU. But my Radiologist friend commented " Zindagi Black and White Xray film jaise hai abhi" In most Indian families.....Marriage between 2.....is on basis of Career,Degree,Position.  An invisible deal. Never do the 2 people ever discuss " PERSPECTION" After decades, Pers pective towards life changes and most couples end up as separate individuals wanting different things

The Invisible Leash.

One day,a Scientist conducted an experiment on his pet Dog. The first week, he dragged his violent barking dog with a long leash and tied the leash to cot.The dog barked the whole day, trying to tug himself off the leash. But he wasn't successful. This went on for a week.  The 2nd week, he dragged the protesting dog again with the leash and acted as if he was tying the leash to the cot.But in actuality, there was no knot. But this time, the dog didn't tug but just kept barking the whole week   The 3rd week, the dog had got so used to being " Tied " to the cot the whole day.....that he himself went to the assigned place and sat there the whole day . Life is also similar. The daily drudgery and monotony in our life sucks us so much into the whirlpool......that the Invisible Leash.....ties us down. We accept Life by succumbing to its challenges. We refuse to disentangle ourselves off that Invisible Leash. Friends, Acceptance of Challenges is good but Succumbing to them i
