We are nearing  December 2024.

End of the year.

December also starts countdown of upcoming 10,12th Boards in India.

Countdown for major 2  enterance Exams in India- IIT JEE,NEET, State CET,NET,CLAT-

Deciding Exams for any kid's future careers in India.

Every one involved in these Exams are tensed,anxious and busy in preparation for the best outcome.

On the basis of grades scored,Ranking achieved, one gets the college and course to pursue their further higher education. 

If grades unfortunately don't come high or upto expectations, or fall short of desired cutoffs.....then Parents are forced to spend huge amounts of finance to secure admission in Private Institutes.

Every Parent aspires to provide better education for their kids so that the future is safe- of both parents and child.

As soon a child is born,.....Incentives are shown to the child....

Eat this morsel of food....you will get this toffee .

Walk upto Papa,you will get this toy car.....

Then when child gets older...

Eat your meal so that you can watch your favorite cartoon.....

Finish your homework so that you can play that game on your I pad.....

The Incentives get the standards higher with age......

Get good marks or perform well in this test or competition....you will get I phone or Foreign trip or some expensive Gadget.

December is also year end for most.....

So the kids preparing for Boards get the highest Incentives......

Get a good score to secure admission to good college.....You will get whatever you ask.

Ever Incentives are shown.....just like a Dangling Carrot to a Rabbit....

Or Bananas to a Monkey.

Never ever do we teach our kid to do something for their own happiness .

Never ever do we tell the kid " Work hard for your own Better Future ".....

We pray God offering Him Incentives. 

If my Child gets good marks, Dear God,I will offer you so much coconuts or money or Fast or Prayers or Something. 

We get so so addictive to Incentives.....

Work is never done without Incentives. 

Incentives in form of Bonuses,Appraisals, Corruption, Bribe,Personal Favors......

People vote a Politician only for Incentives.....

Nobody ever asks " Am I doing this work for my satisfaction, my better life ?"

Is my Family going to benefit or their life secured with this work?

Is my Society around going to be benefitted?

Is my country going to be benefitted?

Am I working hard for my,family, Society and Country's progress and prosperity?

We are unmindful of this aspect. 

We are tuned only to " Incentives "

Materialistic Incentives. 

Momentary Pleasures.

What begins with a small Toy ends upto huge Cash.

What starts from keeping a small step forward goes on to securing average marks just to secure an admission somewhere in some random course.....and end up choosing a wrong career,a wrong atmosphere and.....

A wrong Politician 

A wrong Political Party.....

We are ever then left unfulfilled, dissatisfied.....and end up offering Incentives to force ourselves move ahead.....

Or grabbing ,demanding Incentives to move ahead.

Are Incentives bad?

Every good work must be rewarded and appreciated. 

Incentives offered as Appreciation after fruitful work  done or target achieved....

It holds value.

But Incentives promised as Bribe or Attraction  before work is borne....

Is detrimental to growth. 

Incentives soon get converted to demands.

Demands if go uncontrolled , Illogical, over expectations....or beyond capabilities.... don't get met or get materialized.....

Demands unfulfilled lead to Tantrums. 

Tantrums turn into Protests....

Protests lead to Confrontation and Conflict.

Incentives must be motivating to do better.

Incentives must set goals for your achievements. 

Incentives must encourage students for their better future....Youth for contributing to society....Citizens to strive and work hard for development of Nation.
