 My Bucket List.


Bucket List.
Aspirations we have in our lifetime.
We " Have" to achieve them.
Why wait for tomorrow?
We work very hard to complete that never ending " Bucket List".
A new word in current Trend of Work Life Balance generation.  ....
When " I" is priortised and " Mysef" is given " Me" Time.......
Some stories.......
1. A Friend was very ambitious right from school days. Each phase of life,he had Bucket List of Aspirations. He definitely worked very hard.He was so busy with his Bucket List...he had no time for spending time with us friends nor did he have time to enjoy childhood.
As he grew up,his Bucket List grew.and so did his hours of hard work.He now hardly got to spend time with his wife and kids.
He formed a big Conglomerate,and his investments spread not only India but globally.His aged mother too was left behind now.
One day,his mother became seriously ill.....but he was so committed in achieving his now endless " Bucket List" that he instead called up his manager to arrange the best treatment for his ailing mother.
Mother ,wife,kids all wanted his " Time".....
But alas that wasn't in his Bucket List.
2. A Man in his late 30s left his job .He had always made a " Bucket List" since his childhood.Now he felt the need to achieve his " Bucket List".
Initially his wife accompanied him to his Travel Bucket List,......but when the Bucket List just kept increasing daily......
Exasperated,she left him alone.
Countries covered,Events witnessed,Cycling expedition, Trekking ventures,Adventures all over country,and world.......endless......
But in all this he left his Family behind- Parents, Wife,a Kid.
When he had gone deep Forest Adventure in some part of World.....which had no network for months.......his Father suffered a heart attack and was hospitalized  for month or so and finally expired.
The son couldn't be contacted due to no network.
When he came back home....all excited about his " Bucket List" ....the news about his Father's demise....and how he couldn't be there in those last " Lost" hours with dear Father...he broke down.
3. A Young couple got the news that they are expecting a baby.
The young Father made a " Bucket List" to provide best for the child who will be entering their life.
Big house,Best school, lavish lifestyle.......etc etc.
So he first bought a big house.
The EMIs of the house got him do overtime at work place.
He came vey late from work .He spent even holidays doing overtime.
His pregnant wife started feeling lonely.
It affected her health and the baby in her womb.
She told her ever working,ever tired husband " Dear,why make a " Bucket List" when neither me nor our baby are in your Bucket List.
How will your wife and kid ever enjoy your Achievements alone without you.
Please keep " Time for Loved Ones" in your " Bucket List".

In life,we all make Bucket List.
We strive very hard to achiethat Bucket List.
But most times....
" Time for Loved ones- Parents, Spouse, Kids,Friends"...... is never a part of our never ending Bucket List.......
This " Time.".... if lost......never comes back......

When you lose Health

 When you lose your health...... I was referred a 70yr man suffering from severe pain. A CA Lung with metastasis. He was a very successful, famous Advocate.A Robust and Dynamic personality yesterday.  But that Cancer had made him weak and vulnerable.  He had become a frail shadow..... Another patient with Parkinson 's disease regularly visits for pain relief . A retired Chairman of a Conglomerate.  Both these people have been Dynamic personalities looked up on by everyone. They inspired youth by their enormous work and attitude.  Today,though the Brain is very strong..... The Body became weak and debilitating.  They get emotional " Why me,Doctor?" " Just look at me today.Yesterday I was energetic and always on the go.Today I struggle with pain.Tomorrow I may either be on a wheel chair or bedridden for the rest of my life."
