Story of a Drunken Visitor

 Visitor who loved his Drink.

It was midnight, a soft ( I thought hand) touch caressing my head.

Oh,Ho!!! Husband is in quite romantic dream......

So I raised my hand to hold the " Hand".....

Suddenly, The Hand had claws which grasped my hair hard....Husband's fingers have got big claws Suddenly 😳. I tightened my grip on The Hand.It started wiggling and it's claws started hurting my scalp.I yanked it out off my hair and threw it away.A big yell.Husband got up ." Tripti, what happened?".

Me: There was a creature on my head.Probably a Mouse."

Husband: " You may be dreaming. No mouse will climb 2 floors above ground nor is it smart to use the lift."

The next 3 days,I heard some scratching noise in the wardrobe. But couldn't find anything. So thought am getting real bad nightmares watching" Crime Patrol " on TV.

The househelp showed me some droppings in the corner. I took photos and searched on Google Actually my living room ceiling was often visited by a lizard 🦎 and at times it was accompanied by its friend ,another lizard 🦎.....I would spend many lonely evenings watching them play with each other on my living room ceiling.

But lizard dropping had white uric acid at one end.So it was concluded that the Visitor that night was a " Mouse".

It was not Husband romantically playing with my hair.....but a naughty Mouse had entered my home.

Househelp mixed wheat dough with Rat poison and placed it at corners. No success.

I thought Jerry, the mouse, loved cheese. So brought Amul cheese cubes ,mixed it with Rat poison.and kept at corners. No success.

Again at night, I heard noises in the wardrobe.

Husband 's part of wardrobe.

Flanked open its door.....

There was the naughty Visitor clinging on to the Wine Bottle.

Our precious Goan Wine.....Black grape wine brewed at home by a friend's mom.Our treasured gift.

Husband brought Whisky Bottle, wooed the Visitor away from our Wine bottle, and led the Visitor into the bucket, shut it and hurriedly carried the struggling mouse out of the house.

Moral of the story: Always keep the Spirit high in your homes.
