Mother
Mother.
Mother is the person by definition who carries a child in her womb for 9 months, bears the excruciating labor pain and brings a new life into this world.
Nurturing and Caring.....is her Maternal love.
But just giving birth to a baby isn't enough.
Raising the child to become a confident, compassionate and strong human being is what makes a Woman ....A Mother.
It's not necessary to birth the child.....
It's how you Raise the child....even if you haven't given birth...to the child.
A child looks at the Mother 's face to understand emotions in the beginning.
I learnt this after I had my first baby.
My son would look at my face whenever he was taken for his checkups and treatment.
Initially, as a new Mommy, anxiety would be seen in my eyes and emotions. He would start crying even if he wasn't hurt by anything.
Soon,I learnt to control my emotions and anxiety.
I would go for each of his Doctor 's visit smiling and make him laugh.Result was,my son would be playing and smiling even when he was in discomfort and pain.
A child doesn't know what is pain and suffering till he goes out in the world to experience life.
So he sees the world and experiences emotions through his mother's eyes and expressions.
An ever anxious expression makes the child apprehensive about the surroundings.
If I want to raise my child strong to face the world confidently,me as a Parent must need to be one.
The child trusts only the Mother because of contact since conception.
Child feels secure only with Mother.
Hence,a strong lioness raises her cub to be stronger than her.
Dear Mommy,
Control your emotions of anxiety and Apprehension in front of your child when child is most vulnerable situations. If you break down....your child becomes nervous and confused.
A strong Leader is raised always by a Strong Mother.
A blog to salute all those Strong Mothers.
