Karmaveer.

22nd September was Birth Anniversary of Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil.He was Founder of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha.This was a trust based in Satara.It ran many schools and colleges for grassroots. My school Modern School,Sector7,Vashi Navi Mumbai was started by Rayat Shikshan Sanstha.I have been in this school from LKG till end. My batch of 10th std has been together since LKG age 3yrs. Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil was inspired by Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Shahu Maharajji . It was Shahu Maharaj who motivated young Bhaurao a small village boy born in Kolhapur in a very poor family to pursue education. Bhauraoji then got involved in imparting education to grassroots and spread awareness of education in every village of Maharashtra. Rayat Shikshan Sanstha under patronage of ShahuMaharaj ji was started in Satara.Many schools,colleges and degree colleges were started all over Maharashtra for benefit of grassroots. Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil also spread awareness amongst grassroots against cleanliness, hygiene,sanitation,girl education, social stigmas like untouchability, widow,Sati practices. Bhauraoji was inspired by Mahatma Jyotiba Phuleji and Mahatma Gandhiji in his fundamentals. I have as a kid participated in Essay and Elocution competition based on life and work of Karmaveer Bhaurao Patilji.Very inspiring personality. Whatever I am today is the result of foundation laid by my dear Teachers of Modern School, Rayat Shikshan Sanstha.This school taught me everything and moulded me. The logo of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha was a big Banyan tree with roots spread wide. Education through Self Help was its Motto. I am really proud to be a part of this great Rayat Shikshan Sanstha.This Sanstha runs numerous education institutions all over Maharashtra.

Prodigal Love

Prodigal Love. Parenthood is beautiful and challenging. The thoughts in this blog are my personal views.I am not an expert.Dear Friends, you may not agree to my views. When our child enters this world....as a Parent, we all want to give our kid the best of everything. We want to protect our kid from every single thing which will harm him / her. How much......is too much?????

  How much ....is Too much????? I happened to visit my Paediatrician friend. An IAS officer brought her 2 month baby for check up.The baby was crying while passing urine.Urine tests and culture showed no infection. The concerned Mother showed a methodically maintained book on number of times the 2 month was breastfed,pooped, burped,passed motion,flatulence..body temperature..etc etc....We were surprised by minute details noted every moment of the newborn by the apprehensive but diligent new Mom. Now we come to the part .....How much....is too much???? To maintain asepsis....the overtly careful mom.....had wiped the private parts of the baby ...each time it passed urine or motion.....with concentrated hospital Savalon antiseptic solution...... This resulted in inflammation of the baby's soft mucosa over private parts.....making every passing of urine agonizing and burning.......
