An Audience

 An Audience.


As a student, I was very active in participation in Debates,Elocution,Speech,Dance,Singing competitions in school,college and inter school competitions.
I had the habit of practicing outside and entering the competition hall only when my turn would come.After my performance, I would again leave the hall to return only to accept my prize.
One such inter school competition, a senior teacher observed my behavior. After I received my prize,the Senior Teacher who happened to be the Chief Guest.....while handing me my Trophy said" You are a very good Speaker but not a good Audience. "
Few days back,I was called to attend a Fancy Dress competition of kids from 3yrs to 13yrs.
The older ones after their performance got busy playing games on their mobile sitting at the back row.The younger ones were seen running around ,screaming and laughing obliviousthat other kids were performing still on the stage.
We teach and want ourselves and our kids to be good oratory and great performers.
We take training and give training to be confident " On Stage"
We teach to overcome On Stage Fear.
But we don't bother to be An Audience.
For Me to be a Good Performer....I require an Attentive Audience to appreciate my performance.
An Audience who sits silently and listens to what I speak.....
An Audience who quietly and diligently listens to my song....
An Audience who sincerely with interest watches my Dance recital and my emotions.
We need to train and discipline ourselves and our children to appreciate others work,applause others performances and be actively involved in others celebration and victory.
A Leader and a Performer needs an Audience.
Without an eager and Attentive Audience, any performance on Stage is not complete.
In India,we don't develop those etiquette and discipline of a silent observing Audience.
A Performer begins first as a Part of Audience observing and learning from other people 's performance .
If you are aspiring to be a Good Performer On Stage
You got to be a Great Audience below......

An IAS officer brought her 2 month baby for check up.The baby was crying while passing urine.Urine tests and culture showed no infection. Perils of Nuclear Family

  The Perils of Nuclear Family. A young newly married girl ,23-24 yrs of age came into Casualty with severe bleeding and abdominal pain. We recorded a very low Blood pressure and she looked very pale.Ultrasound revealed Ectopic pregnancy with expelling products and blood in Pouch of Douglas.She required immediate Surgery and Blood transfusion. But she had no accompanying person with her.The kind neighbor who brought her to Hospital went back to her work. The patient 's husband was outstation for a day due to job.She and her husband were alone here and their families were in Bihar. Nowadays, we don't do even Emmergency procedures without attender accompanying patient. Mr X ,a 75 yr old man,was brought into Casualty in unconscious state by kind neighbors. They admitted him in the hospital and left.The entire stay in hospital, nobody visited Mr X.His both kids were abroad His wife had passed away.His relatives stayed in another state.
