Towards Real- ity

 Towards Real.....

Today, all of us are completely dependent upon our Smart Phones and Social media.
Ever all of us are hooked to screens checking out something every moment of our life.
Even when I pen these thoughts of mine....I am clicking on my Smartphone app and later posting on my Blog site, which will be read by several other Smartphone users.
Recently, I had visited Munnar. We stopped at one place to catch the Sun setting.
We turned our back to the Beautiful Scenic view to click the right angle of Selfie....to be posted on every social media platfwith a caption.
All of us got so engrossed turning our face away from the beauty of nature and concentrating more on the perfect click on our Smartphones......the Sun set immediately. We couldn't soak our eyes on that Scenic Moment.
I realised what a great miss it was!!!
When I go to visit a Temple, instead of enjoying the beautiful face of the Diety and the decorations around.....Most times my eyes concentrate in clicking the perfect click.
As I go for my run amidst the greens.....my eyes fail to notice the beautiful flowers and the migratory colorful variety of Birds around.....I miss to soak my eyes into the beauty of Nature around me.....I forget the feeling of cool breeze along my face.....
The sound of chirps and wind blowing.....
Because my attention is more on clicking the Selfie of me running to be posted on my social media page and garnering maximum " Likes" by my " Friends ".
As I am traveling in train or bus or flight.....I use my Smartphone to keep me occupied.I just don't bother to look around- Ambience, People around,Nature beauty outside the window while traveling......
Smartphone has got us all so hooked...that we have moved away from " Real" life around.
We are drawn completely into the " Reel" world inside our Smartphone.
Smartphone is full of " Artificial " intelligence.
We have forgotten or become ignorant or turn our backs to " Natural " beauty and existence around us.
We don't interact with live people sitting next to us....but are busy reaching out and connecting with persons farflung in virtual world.
We cut off physical connection and conversation with people we live with and work with.....celebrating festivals and occasions.....in Reality.
In Reel world,we are actively wishing, discussing and celebrating anything and everything.
Post Covid,I have gone Digital.
I no longer buy my daily Vegetables and Fruits from that old lady sitting in the corner.
So no small pep talk " What for tiffin?"" How are you?" with the kind old woman who would tell me small incidents in her day or personal life....nor a short interaction with known and unknown people buying along with me.
I no longer visit my Bank and today have no personal interaction with the Employees in the Bank.
My clothes too go through Amazon and Various Apps on line.
Today,we have moved so much away from Real People who are actually around us.
The small bird who comes on my window sill who comes daily to wish me Good Morning....the Koyal cooing.....the morning cool breeze......is being unnoticed and Un appreciated.....
We remain so oblivious of beauty and tranquility existing in Real world.
Succumbing and Searching for all those things in Reel Virtual Artificial world.....which have no emotions or feelings.
In this Era of AI and Digitalisation, we need to act make a conciius effort to " Come Closer towards the REAL NATURAL EXISTING WORLD  and Life around us.
Work is dependent on System and Entertainment is more over Social media.
We must keep few hours of our life away from being too much connected to Artificial Digital World.
Some few hours to physically spend time with ourselves and Real people around us ,with whom we physically live with.
Spend some time soaking into the beauty of Nature rather than clicking those moments.
Being blinded into the Virtual Reel Digital World.....
Dear Friends,
Try Coming closer to Real life....
Before the Artificial Digital Intelligence completely over rides ,
powers and engulfs us deep into its System.....
And we will be left searching for the REAL- ity in it.
