 Most Valuable asset.....

A 10yr boy was brought into the Operation Theatre for Emmergency Appendicectomy.

A very thin,nervous kid.

He had a Heart defect at birth and had to undergo Surgery and prolonged hospital stay at a very young age.

Usually, kids who have seen Hospital stay and Surgery before....that too prolonged are a bit difficult to handle as they are familiar with the drill and fear prolonged stay and suffering. 

This kid entered cranky.But lot of cajoling and assurances made him quiet.

After recovery from Anaesthesia post operative,inside the Operation Theatre the boy held both  his hands up together " Thank you,Doctor and Sister."

It got every one in Operation Theatre emotional. 

In the most vulnerable situation too....this small kid forgot his suffering......and thanked all who helped him.

Values ......

The most valuable asset.......

This small kid taught so many things that day.

Values don't need age.....even a small just 10yrs,kid had humility to express gratitude. 

Values don't need qualifications and degrees.The kid was in just 3rd standard.

Values don't need wealth.Values don't see from where you come nor what you are nor how you are!!!! The kid was from a rural area interiors of Rajasthan. His mother was a simple woman  dressed in conservative Marwari attire with a veil covering her head and face and spoke their local dialect only.

Values don't need you to be very qualified,nor powerful, nor highly sophisticated nor modern. 

Values need to be taught right since childhood. 

Values are learnt by a child by simply observing the elders in the family.....

A human being is like a sponge. He / She absorbs everything around since childhood.....the Good and the Bad.

Humility and Gratitude. 

The most valuable asset.....

Irrespective of age,power,position, wealth,status.......

Values possessed is the most valuable asset....

These Assets Define a Person. 

Values are the most valuable asset I need to  inculcate in me.....above education, wealth ,power,status.

Values is an asset I transfer to my next generation......more than knowledge,property and position. 

Learn oneself and teach next generation.

Parents raise a child and work very hard for better life of children.The most important duty is to make our child a better person. 

Values is the best lesson a Teacher imparts to the students. 

As I left the Operation Theatre, I thanked the parents for raising such a humble child.
