A sturdy cotton twill made for miners and laborers in mid 19th century in America.
In 1873,Levi's Strauss and Jacob Davis patented this fabric .By 20th century, Denim became a Global Fashion statement and casual wear.
Denim projected the rebellious attitude. Marketed well.
Even today in 21st Century, Denim is preferred as comfort wear worn casually, or for work or as a Fashionable attire.
Initially this rugged tough cotton was in Blue.
Today,it's available in many colors. Mixed with lycra to add a stretch ....Skinny fitting Denims.
Cut Denims.Threadbare Denims.
Gunshot Denims.
Rhinestones Sparkling Denims.
Boot cut,Flared,Ankle,....
Low waist,Midwaist, High waist....
Kids Denims.
Mommy Denims for Pregnant ladies and Post Delivery comfort.
List is endless today.
The Cotton twill made for Working class then...has taken the entire world under its charms....Globally Fashionable.
I started wearing Denims daily only after I joined my Post graduation in Anaesthesia ...
Comfortable, Sturdy....sustainable.
I could wear the same Denim for days of oncall duties without changing nor washing.
Denims had many pockets.So convenient to carry cash and mobile handset.
Denims made movement easy and working Comfortable.
Denims are expensive.
So,I would join those thousands standing in a kilometer long queue outside Levi's Showroom during their Discount sales.
My Fiancé gifted me a Levi's Denim as First Gift.
My Brother gifted me a LeeCooper Denim from his first salary.
Denims are invaluable treasures of memories fondly preserved...( even if I Don't Fit into them today.😁😄)
Denims are Statement of your Growth both physically and financially.
The bigger your Girth ....
The Bigger your pockets.....
The Bigger and expensive your Denim.
I don't wear Denims for work today.
But Anaesthesiologist can be recognized even from far....Doctors in Denims....Swagger and Dapper.
I propose to Levi's, please introduce Denim Scrubs for Anaesthesiologist...Comfortable and multi pockets.Is anyone listening there?????😁😁😁🤔

When you lose Health

 When you lose your health...... I was referred a 70yr man suffering from severe pain. A CA Lung with metastasis. He was a very successful, famous Advocate.A Robust and Dynamic personality yesterday.  But that Cancer had made him weak and vulnerable.  He had become a frail shadow..... Another patient with Parkinson 's disease regularly visits for pain relief . A retired Chairman of a Conglomerate.  Both these people have been Dynamic personalities looked up on by everyone. They inspired youth by their enormous work and attitude.  Today,though the Brain is very strong..... The Body became weak and debilitating.  They get emotional " Why me,Doctor?" " Just look at me today.Yesterday I was energetic and always on the go.Today I struggle with pain.Tomorrow I may either be on a wheel chair or bedridden for the rest of my life."
