Election woes

 A Biscuit and the Giver.

Every morning as I go on my regular walk,at some corners ,there are benevolent givers feeding bits of Glucose Biscuits to hungry stray dogs. 

Daily the givers and the beneficiaries remain the same.This has been going on for years.

There are many stray dogs roaming around in the area searching for food.

Only the stronger ones come to grab the biscuit pieces. 

The weaker ones are pushed aside.

Neither do the givers bother to give good shelters for these stray dogs nor is the Government caring for their survival. 

A Facade of Benevolence. 

In Life, with Humans, too ,the outlook towards the poor and needy by the Government establishments and Society is so similar. 

Instead of providing means of livelihood and basic needs which will improve the survival of the growing poverty in our country,the mentality is mere Facade of concern and Benevolence. 

Elections bare this truth about sycophancy of leaders and society. 

Free cash,free food coupons, freebies are so similar to the tidbits of biscuits thrown by animal lovers.The biscuits reaching only the stronger ones is same with the so called Benefits for Upliftment of needy reaching only those with the right connections. 

Government schemes for weaker sex, Backward and Minorities in the name of quota,reservations,free delivery of health care,education, transport,electricity, food,homes .....these Benefits ....are they helping in upliftment of those people?

How many are aware of the benefits and schemes?

How many genuine beneficiaries avail them?

It's always the weaker who get overpowered and ignored ever.

When the stronger stray dogs became stronger ,did they move aside to allow the weaker stray to eat the biscuits and become strong?

No.Instead the stronger dogs growled,snarled,bit and got the weaker ones scampering further deep corners....completely overpowered forever.

In life,too the situation is so similar. 

Those availing benefits and becoming strong and self sufficient never step aside to weaker ones and never allow them to become strong.

Result .....

The weak and oppressed become even more weak and dependent. 

Free Biscuits are never a Solution to help someone become empowered.

Providing means to become self sufficient is what is the solution for Upliftment. 

Hope our people demand employment and education of skills and knowledge during elections. Hoping the needy don't get manipulated by leaders and providers by Free Biscuits.
