Post Independence, majority of us have been through tough childhood and compromised growing up years.
Once,we start earning, major part of income is segregated on the 1st day of month towards savings- Fixed deposits, Equity and shares,Real estate,Insurance....
Means of Savings to secure our future and help us in Emmergencies.
But do we " Spend" .
Indians don't spend much.
Savings is imbibed into us since childhood.

Hunger and Satiety.

We are taught to eat only when hungry.For good health,we are taught to restrict our Satiety and control our Hunger.

So,in life,too Indians are educated to control their Spending.
Current generation lives with intention of " YOLO"
You Only Live Once.
Their Hunger for Spending is more and so longer is their Bucket List....
Satiety is missing in the dictionary of their life agenda.

They stretch their legs longer than even their beds.Then start searching for a long blanket to cover their outstretched legs.

SIS/ MIS-
With a Single Income Source ( SIS) ,funds available for Savings and Spending is limited as an individual cannot physically work more than maximum 19hrs a day.
So,there has to be Multiple Income Source( MIS) to raise more funds to spend and invest big time.
Create avenues to invest in multiple platforms which will generate more funds for you.
But this comes with risks.
There are instances where many have lost their hard earned money in frauds and losses.The income coming from our major source gets diverted to cover the bankruptcy.

Solution?

Hunger and Satiety.
The tug of war between the 2 will always rule our life.
When young ,it's the Hunger which drives us to aspire big,take risks and work hard.
The more one is hungry ,the more is the generation of income.
But not all spend.
How much to spend and on what.....
It's an individual perception. Varies from individual.

Work Family Balance.
Maintaining an equilibrium decides the Satiety of an individual.
As we age,one realises importance of family and personal health.
The Hunger is replaced by Satiety.
Satiety for Happiness and Mental Peace.
