 Best Compliment ever.

The innocence of a child always touches your heart.

The emotions of a child are pure.

The words are genuine.

I have been a dancer since many years.

Since my 5 years of age have been giving performances for Bharat Natyam dance form.

Many dances I have choreographed as a young girl and given solo performances in many functions, school annual programs, Ganesh Utsav.

Even in medical college- both UndergraduateandPost graduate, I have received many prizes for my dance.

Many have appreciated my Bharat Natyam performances even if some had no idea about the art form.

" Whatever art form you are doing,We have no idea....thorough enjoyed it "( Aap jo bhi karti go,pata nahin.Par badhiya karti ho.Maza aaya)

Nowadays, work and life balancing gives me hardly any time to choreograph nor practice my art form.

The performances are handful. Occasional. 

As a dancer,I don't appreciate my own performance. Lot of shortcomings and discrepancies. 

But, as,disappointed after a performance, I will be climbing down the stage,few small children surround me.

4 - 10 yrs old,small girls and even boys.

Some adore my outfit.

Some my makeup and accessories. 

Their eyes look awestruck with mouth open in amazement.

The more outgoing amongst them,says" Aunty,I too want to dance like you."

" You are sweating so much.You look so tired.But you have danced from your heart"

The genuine compliment out of happiness after seeing my performance from an innocent child.

For me as a Dancer,these compliments are the best prize received as appreciation .

After each performance today,I will step down the stage and tell myself " This is last I am performing on stage."...Dejected.

But,when a group of children express their happiness through innocent simple words...." I want to Dance like you""

" You dance from your heart".......

I am back to choreographying and performing .....
