Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia is challenging. Especially if the patient to be anaesthetised has many co morbities. Every drug is contraindicated and each form of Anaesthesia risky.
Then at such situations, both ....Eagle's view analyzing the overall picture of the patient as whole.....and a Sparrow 's view for minute details of each organ and system of the underlying condition morbidities.
Finally,we Anaesthesiologists have to balance the drug ,the method of administration and include different forms of Anaesthesia.

Life and it's journey is so similar to my Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia.

As we grow ,the challenges thrown by life is similar to the challenges my Operation Theatre brings with the cases for Anaesthesia.

It is the challenges we face,which make Living exciting and Lifetime valuable.

Being Anaesthesiologist becomes more fulfilling only when I can anaesthetise a very challenging patient for a Surgery with fewer complications.

One can't be always successful in Life.We face more rejections and failures .
It's because of these failures which bring disappointment.....do we learn to appreciate and cherish the occasional victories and momentary joy.

Operation Theatre too is ever chaotic and stressful.
It's an occasional moment of joy when a high risk Obstetrics pregnancy handled diligently brings a healthy baby crying loudly....out into the world.
A sense of satisfaction for all in the OT.

Dear Friends,
Life is never a straight road and never ever a bed of roses.
The path is different and difficult for all.
There are more thorns than red roses in that bed.
We have to walk through that path.
Overthinking and over calculations make the whole journey stressful.
But same time.....never underestimate nor take the journey lightly.
There needs to be a balanced approach.....just like my Anaesthesia.

A fine balance of Eagle's view and a Sparrow 's vision.

An eye for tactful details.....
And.....
Always gauging our journey as whole with perspective of overall picture.

When we come to the end of our journey......
What matters is how best effort did we put....how well did we enjoy......
Succes and Satisfaction is then only Eagle's view.....when we leave this world.

Power of Inner Strength

  Inner Strength Dr Tripti Milind Galgali Anaesthesiologist, Hubli. A 75yr lady was referred for pain and Palliative care to me. A sudden weakness episode got her investigated. She was diagnosed terminal stage of Cancer due to metastasis every where. " You have few months to live". Hearing this,a physically active lady yesterday, suddenly got bedridden. An energetic lady yesterday needed help for basic needs. When she saw me" Doctor, can you make me just like I was yesterday in few months?" I asked" Why ? Where do you want to go?" She: " I want to attend my grandson 's Convocation. " I promised her pain relief only if she got up from bed. Real vs Reel.

  In the " REAL" World. I had been to a condolence meeting of a Senior Doctor. So many people had gathered there to pay their last respects. It was overwhelming to see that the Senior Doctor had touched so many lives....and that day was the proof of his Good Work throughout his life. I went to offer condolences to his son...." Sir earned lot of Good will by his enormous benevolent work." His son replied" That's what he earned only in his whole life.Only Good Will.No money." What is important in our Life? Today,our young generation is immersed in Digital media and Artificial Intelligence. They are more involved and connected to ' Reel" and " Virtual media.
