Countdown for major 2  enterance Exams in India- IIT JEE,NEET, State CET,NET,CLAT- Deciding Exams for any kid's future careers in India. Every one involved in these Exams are tensed,anxious and busy in preparation for the best outcome. On the basis of grades scored,Ranking achieved, one gets the college and course to pursue their further higher education.  If grades unfortunately don't come high or upto expectations, or fall short of desired cutoffs.....then Parents are forced to spend huge amounts of finance to secure admission in Private Institutes.   Diverse stories of " Child" A child born gives immense Joy to parents. Child is provided with all the necessity for good life, health, future by Parents. Parents view the Child as an extension of themselves...and work hard in seeing their own Aspirations and unfulfilled dreams through their Child. But how the Child reciprocates to the hard work and sacrifices of the Parents is diversifying...... I had gone to a funeral.  3 Faces of " Mata" A pregnant woman posted for Csection. Relatives and patient both were tensed. We Doctors were tensed as it was her 4th Csection. Difficult surgery, PPH,other complications.  But patient was tensed as she had 3 daughters.  The entire surgery went well without complications, we were relieved.  But outside every one was crying as if a death had occurred. When the patient was told it's another girl, she started beating her chest.She cursed the newborn. She refused to even see her own baby and breastfeed. 😳😡😠 A mentally challenged lady came for Csection  .It was a task bringing her into OT, getting her to be anaestheised. She was clueless of what's going on and disturbed. But on hearing the baby's cry...." Is the baby alright?" God takes away everything from a mentally challenged person but Maternal Instincts- Never. A 3 yr baby girl suffering from delayed mental and motor milestones and Throwing Seizures was to be sedated for MRI Brain...

 Moments in day of Anaesthesia.  As Anaesthesiologist, I get to interact with all age groups. I get to anaesthetise newborns to Geriatrics.  Kids and Youth as persons are interesting.  Their aspirations and theories of life are interesting.  Kids aspire from being a bus driver to Fire engine driver to Touching the Space as Astronaut. Youth is more ambitious and highly competitive.  Both love attention and do anything to seek attention from everyone especially their peers. They love their Hero- Chota Bheem to Messi to Kohli to K Pop. They also try v hard to be Hero themselves.  2 stories- Both different.  One used the attention to her benefit and succeeded.  Other  used attention to harm himself.  Strong Girl- A young girl, 22yrs,suffered Train accident was brought into Trauma Centre of BYL Nair.I was  JR Anaesthesia there.  Time is Money. - Dr Tripti  Milind Galgali  Hubli. I work as Anaesthesiologist in Scan Centre. Past few years,more so after Covid,am being called to sedate young normal kids for screening of Brain.The major complaint in all being headache,irritability,reduced attention span,less concentration, hyperactivity and involuntary movements of hands . The Investigations turn normal.  Adults come with burning eyes,lack of concentration.  Culprit is Screen Time. Any family get together or social gathering, most are seen glued to their mobile phone or in between keep checking their phones. Why most are so addicted to the screen? Most adults are on jobs independent on Computer. Digitalisation of everything keeps every one hooked to Screen whole day. Rising Inflation and escalating prices force all adults in house to leave out for jobs. Constraints of space and finance have shrunk families.  Nuclear families are leading to loneliness.  Geriatrics are left alone by...

Doctors take the Hippocrates Oath on completion of the Medical Graduation. Service to our patients with dedication and sincerity Prioritizing patient and their needs above everything.  What's in a Name???? - Dr Tripti Milind Galgali  Hubli. Few years back,I had attended a funeral of an eminent Doctor.  As I was offering my heartfelt condolences to the son of the deceased Doctor.... Sir made lot of name and earned lots of respect in his lifetime.  The Son replied " That's all my father could earn with his medical practice....only name.....no fortunes." Only Name...... What's in a Name????? My Mother retired years back after long years of service in Metereological department. I couldn't attend her Retirement Function. But the photos and the recorded speeches....showed how much love, affection and respect her co workers( Seniors, colleagues,juniors) had for her..... There is a saying.... A person in known by the number of people attending his last day ..... When we are in a position of power.....loaded with money......every one around knows us....respects us....makes efforts to reach out to us. But our true value.....is in Name we earn through...
