Memories bring back You......

Tring....Ring....Ring...... there goes my shrill alarm at 6am.It is Saturday morning. Kids have early school at 8am on Saturday.  I am all harried and hurried. I need to wake up my sleepy kids, make them rush up to get ready.Saturday is white uniform, white shoes, white ribbons to pig tails, all pressed and crisp. I need to boil milk for both kids, force them to gulp it down. They have small recess in between. They don't want routine bhaji and roti on Saturday. Something different. So at 6am ,need to be Master Chef. After achieving the task of readying the 2 brats, the School bus gets missed. Off Flying Mommy rides her scooter with elder one sitting behind and dozing off and  the younger one perched in front.Lo behold,we reach just before the gates shut. Saturday, school ends at 11.30am.Next day is blissful Sunday. I pick the kids and in uniform itself we head to their favorite restaurant for Brunch. This had been our routine for almost 7 or 8 years. Time flies so fast...........

Dhanvantari.

Dhanvantari.  Dhanvantari, Sushruta,Chikitsa, Shailya.......... Lord of Medicine, well informed, Treating the ailing, Skills for Treating........ Synonymous for Medicine and Medical fraternity.  The first day of entering this Medical field, we Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath. To serve mankind and treat the ailing. Human body is complicated and complex. It is product of millions of years of evolution.  Human body is a system of many systems . Our body is a miracle, scientists have not been able to figure out all of it yet.  If we all embrace this reality regarding our Human body, then we can accept Mortality. But unfortunately, this is most difficult thing for anybody to accept. Our self concious Mind refuses to imagine non existence of our loved ones. Just Impossible.  In all these years in Medical field and Emmergency branch like Anaesthesiology,I have realised that Human body is highly unpredictable and complex. Science and technology has its own flaws a...

What I think you think I'm am.

One day,a boy and his father were crossing a long bridge across a flowing river. Seeing both on the donkey, one commented" Poor donkey, carrying these two." So father got down." Selfish son, allowing old father to walk along". So Son got down.Father sat on donkey." Selfish father ,not caring about young son." So both again sat on the donkey .Again passerby pitied poor donkey. So this time, both carried the donkey on their shoulders.  The son tripped over a stone making the father fall down and poor donkey fell across the bridge into the flowing river.  This story makes us realise how much we regard and respect public passing comments and opinions.  How many times we allow others to interfere our lives? The  Human personality and our overall development is directly related to our learning process from other people's perception. We shape our personality on other people's opinion about us.We downplay our powers. We succumb to societal pressures.  Since...

Morality of Aspirations

Morality of Aspirations.  Man has desires.Man has Aspirations.  The path from conception to the realisationof his desires and Aspirations is decided by his Morality.  Very few people follow their dreams on the basis of their moral values. It is only in the journey of realization of Aspirations is the moral values inculcated by proper teaching put to test.  Life is the biggest exam and a difficult examiner.  Only that candidate succeeds this exam who sticks to the principles of life and virtues of Morality.  Sardar Vallabh bhai Patel was a true Gandhian. His Patriotism and Loyalty to Mother India was clearly tested and he came out as the most distinguished Deputy Prime Minister of the newly Independent India. One Day,Mahavir Tyagi was visiting Sardar in his home when Sardar was Depury PM. Mahavirji was shocked to see the simplicity of the household and living lifestyle of Sardar and his daughter Maniben. All were clad in simple self woven Khadi covere...

Feminine/ Feminism.

I take pride being a Feminine Feminist........ I was attending an All Ladies Night which had all Ladies from Homemakers to Professionals....in all age groups.....Teens to Geriatrics. Every person was made to speak few words on being a woman, their life and add a message to everyone present. A lovely evening filled with lovely decked up ladies.  The Chief Guest was a well qualified, well achieved, well known affluent lady in her 60s. She spoke about her life.  What struck me is .......her  words.......She hated cooking. In her entire life, she had never entered kitchen or even boiled water.  She was applauded for her this achievement in life by all Ladies.  This blog I have written is not to argue importance of cooking in a Woman 's life. Cooking according to me is necessity in every body's life.No Gender discrimination or preferences on this aspect as we all need food to survive.  But cooking for ourselves and our dear ones is not something to be belit...
